Executive Protection Belgium
On short notice a senior executive had to travel from the US to Brussels to finalize a business deal of a time sensitive nature. Whilst this would on most occasions be considered routine travel in this instance it coincided with heightened threat levels in the immediate aftermath of a terrorist incident.
ETS provided a driver and close protection officer (CPO) to accompany the executive at all times for the duration of his 24hr visit. Our bilingual CPO had extensive military and security experience and, as a Brussels resident, was expertly tuned in to the local dynamics and intel picture. We provided constant communications back to the client’s US based corporate HQ as well as maintaining a series of threat monitoring measures and contact with local authorities to maintain a dynamic series of assessments to support the decision making process on the ground. This included planning for alternate locations to fly the executive out of should any of primary locations become untenable. This level of contingency planning and resource provided considerable assurance to the client – and also satisfied the duty of care requirements of HQ. The deal was conducted on time and the executive returned to the US without incident or delay.
