The Worth Summit – ETS Joining a Panel of Experts to Discuss Security Challenges of Today
Real world events and incidents are focusing the minds across the spectrums of the Private, Government and Non-Profit communities on the broader security issues effecting us all. At ETS we are looking to widen the aperture and increase dialogue and cooperation through contributing to these important conversations.
In June ETS were invited to lead a panel discussion at the Worth Safety and Security Summit in San Francisco. This cutting edge event gathered leading opinion formers from across the public and private sectors to discuss the security issues and challenges affecting the today’s world. ETS Chief Operating Officer Ed Hill chaired and led a discussion panel of Airbnb Head of Global Strategy Chip Conley; former White House Special Assistant to the President on National Security and Dillon Twombly, and Head of Business Development at Dataminr.
The panel discussed the strategic headlines which affect our physical security, how do we identify them, how do we respond? The notion that security cannot be confined to physical; that it sits across all domains in terms of how we view threats, and how we respond to crisis and incident. The panel looked in particular at human behaviors and the impact they have on collective and individual security. We were delighted to be invited to join these important discussions and continue to welcome the opportunity to contribute to ongoing discussions and debates as to how best to keep people safe in a complex and uncertain world.
