NEW ROLE – Executive Security Driver

Role: Executive Security Driver
Shifts: 10-hour daily, Monday through Friday (As needed to support the client)


ETS is recruiting experienced Executive Protection professionals to be considered as part-time Executive Security Drivers (ESD) in Miami, Florida.

Job Description:

This position supports travel requirements for the designated Client family. Successful performance in this unarmed role will require excellent driving skills, devoted situational awareness, and maturity. The ESD must have a confirmed knowledge of Miami, Florida’s urban/suburban areas. Also, a high degree of motivation and the ability to adapt to dynamic security and customer service-related expectations is a must have mindset. ETS Executive Security Drivers are expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism, judgment, and security awareness. This is a client-focused and customer service-oriented position where the ESD is expected to assist the client whenever possible while providing safe and secure ground transportation.

Responsibilities and Expectations

●     Provide protective transportation for principals, guests, employees, and associates in a way that is professional, courteous, and in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and best practices
●     Maintain the utmost confidentiality of principal(s)
●     Work well with children of all ages
●     Detect and report suspicious activity and security vulnerabilities
●     Maintain vigilant and recorded care of assigned client assets
●     Immediately report any maintenance needs, deficiencies, or unsafe conditions of assigned vehicles
●     Maintain a professional appearance
●     Maintain safe control and legal operation of assigned vehicles
●     Document security incidents, including preparing reports and briefs as needed
●     Maintain satisfactory review rating as per ETS standards and guidelines


●     Class “D” Security License issued by the State of Florida Department of Agriculture
and Consumer Services Division of Licensing
●     Valid REAL-ID Driver’s License from Florida or another US state, or valid passport
and US birth certificate with a valid US-based driver’s license in lieu of REAL-ID
●     Proof of clear driving record for at least five years prior to the date of this posting
●     No chargeable crashes within the last five years of the date of this posting
●     Familiarity with high-end sport-utility vehicle class operation and roadside emergency procedures

●     Current CPR/AED certification
●     Ability to pass drug/substance testing and maintain a zero-use tolerance standard
●     Ability to maintain a high level of physical fitness and personal appearance
●     Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required
●     Ability to successfully complete an extensive background investigation


●     Candidates will preferably have a minimum of 4 years of relevant security experience
●     Previous experience as a certified law enforcement officer from US military, federal, state, or local agency (given preference but not required)
●     Certification from a recognized defensive/offensive driving course (given preference but not required)
●     Leadership or management experience desired
●     Strong base knowledge in all facets of protective operations
●     Understanding of technology-based protective applications
●     Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.)


●     This position is contractually compensated per hour
●     Compensation is commensurate with related experience and comparable to the highest in the security industry; please submit Resume/CV for consideration
